The shutter is most representative of the human eyelid. By blinking, we capture split-second moments of our life and store them in an album.

My goal was to create a "crowd" of portraits that mimic the snapshot of a second in which you see someone belting out their favourite song during a concert. This project followed specific parameters for making while maintaining an element of improvisation. The randomness of the execution lends itself to the concept in the energy captured in the blink of an eye at a concert. I plan to match the energy and "blink and you'll miss it" moments during a concert with the camera.
